I’m currently jumping between a couple of books. I’m reading Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater and Winter by Marissa Meyer. Winter is an e-book, while Blue Lily, Lily Blue is a physical book, so that’s part of why I’m reading both at the same time. Blue Lily is one I take with me pretty much everywhere, bouncing around from my backpack to my purse and back. Winter I mostly read in bed before I go to sleep because I have it on my tablet and can read with the light off. I hope I’ll finish at least one of them this week.
For class, we’ve moved on to reading poetry by Wordsworth and Coleridge. I think this week we start Lyrical Ballads. I’ve read some of it before, but it will be interesting to read the poetry while thinking about crime and punishment. This semester is going fast. It won’t be long before we reach the end and start reading Oscar Wilde. I can’t wait! 😀
For my goodreads challenge, I had started the year with a goal of 50 books. Based on the fact that I just haven’t felt like reading in the last few months, I changed my goal to 30 books. I am currently 1 book behind schedule, so I think that was a good choice on my part. After I finish my current reads, I’ll get back to the other books I’ve been neglecting.
